How to make a return
CDS Vic will provide a 10 cent refund for every eligible drink container returned from 1 November.    Every bottle, can and carton you return helps to divert valuable containers from landfill. 
Eligible containers
Most aluminium, glass, plastic and liquid paperboard (carton) drink containers between 150mL and 3 litres are eligible. Keep the lids on, we recycle them too! 
Refund point types

There are hundreds of refund points across Victoria, so look out for your local. The network has more than 600 refund points.

Donation & other refund types
There are multiple ways to receive your 10 cent refund. You can either keep your refund, or support your favourite cause with a donation.

AFL Victoria and CDS Vic have teamed up to support local football clubs across the state in raising funds and promoting sustainability. Through this exciting partnership, CDS Vic is now the Official Recycling Partner of AFL Victoria until 2027.

CDS Vic is proud to announce its groundbreaking partnership with Tennis Victoria. This exciting initiative aims to reduce waste, promote recycling, and support grassroots tennis communities across the state to raise funds.

Following the recent partnership announcement between Tennis Victoria and CDS Vic, we are excited to reveal that your club now has the chance to win fantastic prizes, including tickets to the Australian Open 2025!

By now you will have received your Donation Partner barcode to activate. It’s important that you activate this barcode as a Donation Partner to be part of the Tennis Victoria and CDS Vic program.  

The great news is that this is a fantastic opportunity for your club to generate income, promote sustainability, and win some incredible rewards.

How It Works: Tennis Victoria Clubs will be broken into their existing regional groups of Country West, Metro North West, Metro South East and Country East and will go head-to-head, competing to collect the most containers. Spot prizes will be up for grabs along the way, making it even more exciting!

Parkdale Tennis Club

A club that consistently explores innovative ways to fundraise and has been a standout participant in the CDS Vic initiative. Currently ranked in the top 5 for the Metro South East region, Parkdale is raising funds to install another Book-a-Court/Visitor Access System pin pad and provide shade structures for their members.

Romsey Tennis Club

Recognised for embracing the CDS Vic initiative as a vital step towards achieving their goal of fundraising for new courts. With a strong commitment to improving their facilities for players and the community, the club is actively collecting containers to make their vision a reality.

Mooralla Tennis Club

Nestled at the foot of the Grampians, this small but mighty club is making an impact. Recently reviving their junior program, Mooralla TC is planning to use funds raised through the CDS Vic initiative to work towards resurfacing their asphalt courts, ensuring a bright future for their growing community such as their revived junior program.

Plenty Tennis Club

Making strides in sustainability while raising vital funds.

Rutherglen Lawn Tennis Club

Onboard with the CDS Vic initiative since early 2024, Rutherglen Lawn TC saw the program as a fantastic fundraising opportunity. With a convenient collection point located at a local service station, the club has made it easy for members and the community to contribute, showcasing their proactive approach to sustainability and fundraising.

Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club

Recognised for their dedication and hard work, Warrnambool implemented the CDS Vic initiative in December 2023. The club is deeply engaged with their community, collaborating with various groups and charities. Just last week, they raised funds for the mental health charity Ski for Life through the AO on the Road event, showcasing their commitment to making a positive impact both on and off the court.
